Biography

Prof. (FH) Dr. Dominika P. Galkiewicz is currently a Professor of Finance, Accounting & Auditing at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein in Austria. She holds a doctoral degree in Finance from Humboldt University Berlin. During her Berlin time, she was exposed to a broad range of finance topics and gained practical expertise in areas ranging from international accounting and tax management through financial risk management to financing and investment decisions of companies/start-ups, strategic management and company valuation. Her research focuses on the investment strategies and performance of mutual funds in the US and EU, start-up management and crowdfunding.
