Conference Venue

The ITEMA 2026 conference will be held at the Technical University of Berlin – TU Berlin, which is well-regarded in Germany and around the world as a place of academic excellence and a leading teaching institution.

This is also reflected in various rankings. The University boasts a particularly strong reputation in technical and engineering fields, and employers value its graduates for the quality of their education.

What’s more, TU Berlin is located in one of the most attractive places to study and research clusters in the world – Brain City Berlin.

TU Berlin places 140th in the most recent ranking. It has come in again at 13th in Germany, and is ranked 3rd among the major universities of technology in the country. The ranking, published annually by the British magazine “Times Higher Education” (THE), is based on five pillars:

  • teaching
  • international outlook
  • research environment
  • research quality
  • industry

2,093 universities from around the globe were assessed in the latest ranking, 50 of which are in Germany. (As of October 2024)

Udekom Balkans is a dynamic non-governmental and non-profit organization, established in 2014 with a mission to foster the growth of scientific knowledge within the Balkan region and beyond. Who We Are: Our members include esteemed university professors from various scientific disciplines, postgraduate students, and experts from ministries, public administrations, private and public enterprises, multinational corporations, associations, and similar organizations.

Building Bridges Together: Over the course of ten years since our establishment, the Association of Economists and Managers of the Balkans has established impactful partnerships with more than 1,000 diverse institutions across the Balkans region and worldwide.
